On the first Sunday of Beer Week (the 8th), we’ll be turbocharging our weekly Smokehouse Sunday into the Green Flash Smoke Out: 6 GF beers on cask each paired with a dish from the pit, 5 GF beers on draft, and brewer Chuck Silva in the house to share in the celebration.
Also, all day we’ll have house made sausage flavored with Green Flash’s spent barley. How cool is that?
The beer lineup:
On Cask each of these beers is available with a paired dish from the smoke pit at $8 for the food and a half pour of beer
* Nut Brown (this old favorite went away a while ago but now they’ve re-released it as a specialty beer) – Grilled stuffed jalapenos (Trevino Farms), Spring Hill cheddar
* Hop Head Red – Grassfed beef li’l Smokies (Spanish Oak Ranches) w/ Mariam plum (Smit Orchards) bbq sauce
* West Coast IPA – House made grassfed beef hot dog (Spanish Oak Ranches), house made mustard relish, house cured Berkshire bacon bits (Eden Farms), house baked semolina bun
* Imperial IPA – Tacos de barbacoa (pastured lamb from the Maguire family), tomatillo (Wingshadows Hacienda) salsa
* Hop-less (a new gruit beer brewed with herbs instead of hops, it’s a collaboration between Green Flash and Ben Spencer from Magnolia in San Francisco) – Smoked Be rkshirepork belly (Eden Farm), shoyu glaze
* Superfreak (Belgian-style IPA aged in wine barrels with Brett and other wild cultures) – Smoked Pacific oysters (Sol Azul), Superfreak mignonette
